H. Marie Hall
H. Marie Hall was born in Gallup, New Mexico and raised in both Arizona and New Mexico. She is of Cherokee descent, but admits the Hopi, Navajo and Zuni cultures have a great influence on her life.
Hall is an artist whose life long discipline and love of hands-on creating has taken her to the forefront of her profession. She describes herself as a colorist. Using her broad knowledge of dyes, Hall turns her dynamic contemporary Native American Batiks into an unexpected masterpiece, giving her the ability to "stand alone" in the fine art industry.
